3D Printing and Modelling M-Term: Day 3

Today, our class continued working on our planes for the 'competition' that we're going to do tomorrow morning. Mr. Beradino also introduces us to a third project, where we can do anything as long as it is a) for a phone, and b) has a joint (i.e., hinges). To help prepare us for this, he taught us how to make hinges for our project!

Personally, I am going to make a phone/card/pen holder that attaches to the leg of my wheelchair! I'm very excited about this, especially because everything currently on the market is so bulky, or doesn't work for someone like me.
Something that I thought was really cool was that Mr. Beradino let me use a soldering iron to help stabilise the pieces of my plane through soldering excess filament onto the lines where the body and wings connected.

Picture from the lesson on how to make a hinge.
